Prairie Branches Supported Employment is always seeking creative people in the rural areas of Biggar, Kerrobert, Kindersley, Perdue, Unity and Wilkie.
Our clients are looking for kind, compassionate, non-judgemental, creative people that can assist them in their
employment to become independent at their jobs.
This may consist of developing a routine task list, developing an efficient method to perform their tasks, demonstrating
how to perform a task, and the list goes on…be creative.
– Must have a criminal record check with the vulnerable sector
– Must have a valid Saskatchewan driver license
– Experience would be an asset
Direct Support Professional

At Prairie Branches, we are always looking for dedicated individuals who are excited about providing life enhancing support for the diverse group of individuals we serve. Since we provide a Unionized environment for our staff, the most common entry-level position is as a casual Direct Support Professional.

By following the established person-centered plan programs, provide support to participants in a manner that maximizes their potential and quality of life. This includes but not limited to; participant support and personal care, administering medication, maintaining a home-like atmosphere, arranging and attending events with the participants, and administrative duties.
1. A valid Saskatchewan Driver’s license.
2. Must provide, or have on file, a Criminal Record Check with
Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
3. Excited about working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
4. Knowledge of spoken and written English.
5. Must be available to work shift work.
There are many ways in which community members can become involved with Prairie Branches. There are few more fulfilling opportunities than those available through interaction with our participants. We do require all volunteers over the age of 18 to provide a recent criminal record check in the vulnerable sector for volunteers. In addition we do ask that all volunteers sign a confidentiality and volunteer agreement. All volunteer hours must adhere to Section 1.2 of the local CUPE Collective Agreement.
